Professional Biography

Kimberlee Eberle-Sudre is a Doctoral Student in the Social and Comparative Analysis in Education Program at the University of Pittsburgh. She is currently a graduate assistant with the Center for Latin American Studies as the School Visit Outreach Program Coordinator and a graduate intern at the White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for Hispanics. Her research interests include Latin American education systems, education in emerging economies, development education policy, and quality teacher preparation programs. The focus of her research is to explore the effects of Conditional Cash Transfers in Brazil and Mexico on education systems, specifically questioning effects on quality teaching and resource acquisition.
Prior to joining the University of Pittsburgh she worked in a variety of educational settings ranging from the Associate Director of Undergraduate programs in Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, Academic Advisor for Latino and international students at the University of Kansas, and program coordinator for international programs in Quito, Ecuador. In addition to her work and educational experience, Eberle-Sudre also received a Foreign Language and Area Studies fellowship for intensive study of Portuguese.
