The Editorial Board invites contributions, normally of between 3,000 to 5,000 words, dealing with the complementary fields of comparative, international, and development education. The newsletter focuses on such areas as Social Justice in Education; Measurement of Education Inequality; Education Policy; Planning, Capacity Building, Management, and Evaluation at all levels (primary, secondary, and higher education subsectors); Multisectoral Programs (including HIV/AIDS, Gender, Indigenous Education, and Human Rights initiatives); Curriculum Reforms and Textbook Production; Educational Testing and Assessment; Participatory Planning for Educational Renewal; Teacher Development through Active Learning; Decision-Oriented Research; and Distance Education. Suggestions of themes for articles or special issues will be welcomed.
