Description of the panel: The Comparative Higher Education (EFOP 3136_2221) class at the University of Pittsburgh invites the School of Education to the upcoming panel/webinar “Trends in Internationalization of Higher Education – A Virtual Panel.” We are honored to have Anamaría Sagre (Universidad de Córdoba, Colombia), Joira Martins (Federal Universidade de Mato Grosso, Brazil), Belkys Torres (UCIS, University of Pittsburgh), and Tchetchet Digbohou (Pitt alum, POISE Foundation, Pittsburgh) as panelists. Internationalization is a trend that higher education systems and institutions worldwide seek to increase visibility, gain reputation, engage in collaboration with diverse partners, and better serve their societies. This panel/webinar is in line with Pitt’s School of Education’s mission to “… address how national, global, social, and technological change impact learning.” Our distinguished panelists are experts in the topic.
