The first International Education Brown Bags (IEBB) series of this November was held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019. Two visiting scholars from China, Dr. Cai and Dr. Fang, presented an overview of their works, which will be presented in the upcoming IISE 2019 Symposium on November 14, 2019. Deliberations during the brown bag have been beneficial in providing constructive feedback and inputs on their works, as they were able to continously develop and improve their research content and structures. A new visiting scholar, Dr. Xia Wang from Mudanjiang Normal University, China, joined the meeting and discussed comparative examples of learning policy program in China’s Universities. Highlight of the meeting was the news on Dr. McClure's winning the School Board President election of the Riverview School District. Congratulations!! The session was concluded with a gift exchange--a longstanding tradition in the IISE family.
