Eugene Arigye

Eugene A. Arigye is a PhD candidate at the University of Pittsburgh, School of Education under the department of Administrative and Policy Studies. He holds a Bachelor of Philosophy (Makerere University), Master of Public Management & Policy Analysis (Carnegie Mellon University), Master of Arts in Peace & Conflict Studies (Makerere University), and Doctoral Certificate in African Studies (University of Pittsburgh).He has a wide experience in the Ugandan Public Service where he has been involved in policy formulation and implementation especially in the health and education sectors. Eugene has also taught in higher institutions of learning in Uganda and consulted with Universities and Companies in USA that focus on bridging the academic achievement gaps between whites and black communities. His main areas of research are Public Policy, Development Economics, international and Comparative Education, Health, HIV/AIDS in Africa and Democratic Governance.
