Eunjoo Oh

Eunjoo Oh is the new intern at IISE assisting the Diplomacy Lab Project and the social media. She began her MEd study this Fall 2019 in Social Comparative and Analysis in Education (SCAE) Program, School of Education, at the University of Pittsburgh. 

Originally from South Korea, Eunjoo started her career as a science teacher in the Goyang-Songsan Middle School, Goyang, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. She completed her BS degree in Science Education from Ewha Womans University in Korea and received a Certification of Teaching Science from the Korea’s Ministry of Education. 

In 2010, her vast interest in international education brought her to the United States as an exchange student at the American University in Washington DC. This exchange experience motivated her to pursue a further degree in educational research and policies.

Eunjoo is interested in doing an international comparative study of STEM education in K-12 level in the US, South Korea and other countries. She enjoys the international learning atmosphere here at Pitt and look forward to sharing her ideas, aspirations as well as her Korean heritage.
