Huimin Chen is a Ph.D. Candidate from the Faculty of Education at Beijing Normal University, China. She is currently serving as a visiting scholar in the Institute for International Studies in Education at the University of Pittsburgh. Her faculty counterpart at the University of Pittsburgh is Prof. Jean Ferketish and her current research project is “Research on Knowledge Mobilization in the Higher Education Policy Making Process in China and the United States.” She received her master’s degree in Higher Education from the Institute of Higher Education at Beijing Normal University. Her research interests include higher education policy and management, knowledge mobilization, and university endowment.
