Huiyuan Ye

Dr. Huiyuan Ye is a former Research Analyst of Learning Science & Workforce Insights at Southern New Hampshire University. Prior to that, he was a Senior Program Coordinator of the Institute for International Studies in Education (IISE), University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Ye earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in English Language and Literature from Shanghai International Studies University and later a Doctor of Education degree in Higher Education Management from the University of Pittsburgh. He is currently an Associate Editor of the International Academic Forum (IAFOR) Journal of Education, Issue of Education and the Liberal Arts.

 

Dr. Ye is an experienced researcher of higher education and specializes in the topics of comparative & international education, workforce development, and liberal arts education. His scholarship aims at integrating these fields to help reduce the national and international skills gap among those with varying degrees of education. Dr. Ye’s particular contributions to these fields were published by the International Journal of Educational Development (IJED), Palgrave Communications, and elsewhere. Currently, he is collaborating with Lingnan University on a research project about localization strategies of East Asian liberal arts institutions in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
