Jin Liu

Jing LIU was recently a Visiting Scholar at IISE. He is currently a doctoral student in the Program of Education and Human Resource Development at the Graduate School of International Development at Nagoya University, Japan. LIU is also a Chinese Lecturer for Berlitz in Japan. Before joining IISE, LIU served an UIS-AIMS Unit Internship at the UNESCO Bangkok Office in the fall of 2009. In the Summer of 2008, he conducted fieldwork on Education for Rural-Urban Migrant Children in Beijing, China. LIU has also conducted an analysis of the Education Sector in Uzbekistan as part of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) Project in 2007. Furthermore, LIU has been involved in overseas fieldwork in Kampong Chhnang Province, Cambodia, on the Construction and Maintenance of Rural Infrastructure, in addition to being part of the Project Cycle Management Training Program atFoundation for Advanced Studies on International Development (FASID), Japan in 2007. He served as an editor for the Beijing Language and Culture University Press from 2002-2003, and as a translator for the Australian Embassy in Beijing during Australia Education Expo in 2001 and 2002.
