Dr. Sri Rachmajanti (Loeki) is a senior teaching staff at the English Department of the State University of Malang or Universitas Negeri Malang, East Java, Indonesia specializing in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and Teaching English for Young Learners (TEYL). She has written several English textbooks for Indonesian learners under the titles of “Learning by Doing”, which is a six volume series for primary school students; “Let’s Communicate”, a three-volume series for secondary and tertiary students. Since 2007, she has been appointed as an independent consultant and University Contact Person for USAID’s project Decentralized Basic Education (DBE). She is also the Coordinator of the Consortium of Indonesian Universities and Pittsburgh (KPTIP). She is currently the Assistant Director of the lUniversity of Malang’s Lab School. As a member of the Ministry of National Education in Indonesia, she has routinely been involved in the training of teachers nation-wide implementing the government policy initiatives in education.
