Dr. Veysel Gokbel is currently working as a Senior Data Product Manager at ShareThis. He previously served as a project coordinator and researcher at the Institute for International Studies in Education, University of Pittsburgh. During his tenure at IISE, he was leading marketing efforts at the institute along with his responsibilities including institutional research and analysis, data collection and manipulation, and tech and digital projects. He has been affiliated with the institute since 2013.
His professional interests include data science, machine learning, AI, product management, project management, EdTech, MarTech, AdTech, entrepreneurship and innovation, startups, market research, mentoring, learning outcomes, productivity, internationalization, and higher education management.
Dr. Gokbel holds his master's and PhD degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. He is also an Alum of the Innovation Institute at the University of Pittsburgh and Data Science Immersive Program at General Assembly.
