Zheng Li

Zheng Li is a third-year Ph.D. candidate at the East China Normal University. He is currently serving as a visiting scholar at the Institute for International Studies in Education (IISE), University of Pittsburgh. His faculty counterpart at the University of Pittsburgh is Prof. Sean Kelly and his current research project is “The Value of the Modern Apprenticeship in Contemporary China – Based on the Comparative Study between the US and China.”

He received his master’s degree in Vocational and Technical Education from Nanjing Normal University in 2015. His research focuses on the curriculum and teaching of vocational education, modern apprenticeship and the sociology of vocational education. He has published several papers on these topics and received the funding from the Graduate School of ECNU to promote his doctoral dissertation research.
