Your $10 donation can help us unlock $1,000!

The University of Pittsburgh’s heart is in those who create and share both locally and globally. So too the heart of the Institute for International Studies in Education (IISE) rests in our relationships with local and global faculty and staff, students and alumni. Relationships that last.

On Tuesday, February 22, we will celebrate the 2022 Pitt Day of Giving! When you give on the Pitt Day of Giving, your dollar for IISE goes further than on any other day. The number of donors is very important.

Your $10 gift matters because when the IISE development fund reaches at least 20 donors – regardless of the amount! – we will unlock a $1,000 gift promised by generous benefactors!

Here's the best part: you don't even have to wait a week! Our giving page is open now – just click here and scroll down to the IISE fund.

Remember: any amount helps us unlock that $1,000 gift! $10 will work!

And from all of us at IISE, thank you. Your gift will help IISE’s local and global efforts to build toward a shared understanding of the importance of education both within and across borders. This requires learning multiple points of view.

Please make a donation of your time as well, there’s lots to do. Help us better connect students and alumni so they can learn from each other. Attend a brown bag. Contribute to our alumni newsletter. Join a working group. Share with a visiting scholar. Help us build online certificates. Help translate information about our work so it can be shared more broadly.

We could not do this work without you. Thank you for all that you do!

We are very grateful for your love, Maureen McClure, IISE Director.
